Feras Mahdi, MD

Dr. Feras Mahdi is a Director at GE Healthcare Finnamore, the healthcare consulting arm of General Electric's Healthcare division where he focuses on providing advisory and program implementation services to governments and public and private healthcare institutions. Prior to this he was a Senior Manager at Medtronic, the world’s largest med tech company, and lead their clinical consulting practice across the Middle East, Africa, Central Asia and Turkey, specializing in healthcare management, operations, and performance improvement.  He is also the Executive Director of The Medical Clinics, a local healthcare management company and an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Public Health at Phoenicia University where he teaches the fundamentals of health promotion programs to senior students.

Dr. Mahdi has an MD from the American University of Beirut and is specialized in Internal Medicine. He also has a Masters in Bioscience Enterprise from the Judge Business School at the University of Cambridge, in partnership with the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), where he also co-founded CamStent, an award winning company developing and producing novel technology using advanced polymer coatings to enhance the safety and efficacy of medical catheters. He continues to mentor young health-tech entrepreneurs at local and regional events, in addition to serving as a recurrent panelist on regional healthcare business development. Dr Mahdi is a member of the Lebanese Order of Physicians, the American College of Physicians, and the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE).
