Asma Jaber

Asma Jaber is a third-year JD student at Harvard Law School where she is focusing on civil and human rights, particularly regarding immigration, criminal justice, national security, and Palestinian human rights.
Prior to law school Asma worked at the Civil Rights Division of the U.S. Department of Justice, where she worked on civil rights issues related to immigration, disability rights, and national security-related government abuses. She has also managed a leadership development program at the Harvard Kennedy School and co-founded a mobile startup that streamlines access to history and preserves the memory of places at risk of being destroyed.
Asma holds a Master’s in Public Policy from the Harvard Kennedy School and a Bachelor’s degree in Anthropology and International Relations from the University of South Carolina where she was a Truman Scholar.
